Johnstone’s Trade Stain Away is a high-opacity stain blocking wall and ceiling paint for interiors. It permanently isolates smoke, nicotine and water stains while providing a smooth matt finish.

Its Stain Blocking Technology is designed to isolate and permanently cover persistent staining such as smoke damage, nicotine staining and water marks, making it useful when repairing damaged or discoloured backgrounds before redecorating.

Preparation
- Make sure surfaces are clean, dry and sound before decorating.
- Remove loose or flaking material and sand glossy areas to provide a key.
- Fill cracks or defects, then dust down before applying paint.
- Use the correct primer or undercoat where the surface or product data sheet requires it.
Application
- Stir thoroughly before use and follow the product label or data sheet.
- Apply evenly using the recommended brush, roller or spray method for the product.
- Allow suitable drying time between coats, especially in cold or humid conditions.
- Approximate coverage: 9 m2 per litre.
