Johnstone’s Trade Flexible Satin is a solvent-based microporous exterior satin for wood and similar exterior surfaces. It resists cracking and flaking to provide longer-lasting protection than conventional satin finishes.
Johnstone's Trade Flexible Satin is a premium quality solvent-based microporous satin finish developed for exterior use.
It is formulated to resist cracking and flaking while giving a more durable result than conventional satin finishes. The coating is suitable for surfaces such as exterior wood and concrete and is designed specifically for use with Johnstone's Trade Flexible Primer Undercoat.

Preparation
- Make sure surfaces are clean, dry and sound before decorating.
- Remove loose or flaking material and sand glossy areas to provide a key.
- Fill cracks or defects, then dust down before applying paint.
- Use the correct primer or undercoat where the surface or product data sheet requires it.
Application
- Stir thoroughly before use and follow the product label or data sheet.
- Apply evenly using the recommended brush, roller or spray method for the product.
- Allow suitable drying time between coats, especially in cold or humid conditions.
- Approximate coverage: 18 m2 per litre.
